What a fantastic night last Friday at Forest Hotel, celebrating the achievements of our senior teams throughout the 2026 season. The Forest Hotel joined the Wakehurst family this year as our Major Sponsor and we can't thank them enough for their contribution to the club this season.
Reflecting on the season, our senior men had their most successful one in a number of years with an incredible 10 teams finish in the Top 4, and 8 teams going all the way to the Grand Final! The depth of talent coming through our MPL and AL1 teams is something we've been working hard towards and we can't wait to see what 2027 brings.
Our club’s success was also recognised with Wakehurst once again receiving the Manly Warringah Football Association Executive Award for Best Performing Club across the U18–O45 age groups. A fantastic achievement and a reflection of the hard work and commitment right across our senior program.
A huge contributor to this success is our awesome committee, and in particular our Vice Presidents, who work tirelessly throughout the season. They spend countless hours every week running their respective age groups, supporting teams, coaches, managers and players — often behind the scenes and without enough recognition. Thank you.
To all our players, coaches, managers, volunteers and supporters — thank you for making 2026 such a memorable season. We hope everyone enjoyed it as much as we did!
