Congratulations to our very own Tanya Thomas on being appointed Team Manager of Diamond Valley Eagles Victorian Wheelchair Basketball Team!

Tanya will be supporting the team throughout the upcoming season as they prepare to represent Diamond Valley Basketball Association

A New Chapter for Kananook Krocs!

We are incredibly proud to announce another major milestone in the journey of Kananook Krocs Basketball Club...

Kananook Krocs Basketball Club Inc. is now officially an Incorporated Association!

This is a significant step forward for our club and reflects our ongoing commitment to building a strong, transparent and sustainable community sporting organisation.

Since launching, our focus has always been on creating a welcoming club where players of all ages and abilities can enjoy basketball in a safe, inclusive and supportive environment. Becoming incorporated strengthens our governance, enhances our accountability, and provides a solid foundation as we continue to grow.

This milestone also opens the door to exciting opportunities for the future, including expanding community partnerships, accessing additional funding opportunities, and continuing to invest in programs and initiatives that benefit our members and the wider community.

While becoming incorporated may not change what our members see each week on game day, it represents countless hours of work behind the scenes by a dedicated committee committed to doing things the right way and ensuring the long-term success of our club.

A huge thank you goes to our committee, volunteers, coaches, team managers, players, families, sponsors, and supporters. Every one of you has played a part in helping Kananook Krocs reach this exciting milestone.

This is just the beginning.

Here's to the next chapter of Kananook Krocs Basketball Club Inc as we continue to grow, support our community, and create opportunities for players both on and off the court.

💚 The Kananook Krocs Basketball Club community is coming together for someone very special, and we need your help. 💚

Today, we're asking our members, families, friends and our wider community to rally behind one of our own.

Our Under 14 Girls and Under 16 Girls team manager, Natalie Kallitsas, is taking part in Dry July, raising funds for Dreams2Live4 in honour of her dear friend, Mel.

Mel is a devoted mum to two beautiful girls, with her eldest living with severe disabilities. Mel has recently been diagnosed with cancer for the third time and has now been told it is Stage 4.

Through it all, Mel has continued to inspire everyone around her. She is one of the most caring, selfless and positive people you could ever meet. Rather than focusing on herself, she has spent her time supporting others living with terminal cancer through Dreams2live4 Even travelling to Sydney to share her story and raise awareness for the charity.

Now it's our turn to support her.

Every donation made through Natalie's Dry July fundraiser will help Dreams2Live4 continue creating unforgettable experiences and precious memories for people living with terminal cancer.

If you are able to donate, no matter the amount, we would be incredibly grateful.

🏀 Krocs vs Krocs! 🐊💚🖤

There aren't too many games where you can predict a Krocs win before the tip off... but tonight was one of them!

Two of our Under 21s teams faced off against each other and no matter the result on the board, Kananook Krocs Basketball Club were always going to come away with the win.

It was fantastic to see so many young men in this age group continuing to play organised community basketball each week.

A big thank you to Chelsea & District Chelsea Basketball - CADBA for providing a competition where these young men can continue to play, compete and enjoy the game we all love.
