🏀 SCHOOL HOLIDAY BASKETBALL PROGRAMS

Looking for a great way to keep the kids active these school holidays?

Our major sponsor, Having a Ball, is running a range of basketball programs designed to help young athletes develop their skills, build confidence and most importantly, have fun.

Led by Dylan Taylor and the Having a Ball coaching team, these sessions provide players with the opportunity to improve their game in a positive and engaging environment. Whether your child is new to basketball or already playing competitively, there is something for everyone.

We would also like to wish all of our Kananook Krocs coaches the very best as they coach their representative teams throughout the tournament.

And special shoutout and good luck to Evie our junior coach of our U8 Boys KPPS as she plays with her representative team in this Tournament.

Community sport at its best. 💚🖤🏀

How many kids get the chance to play the same sport as their dad?

Even better, how many get the chance to pull on the same club colours and represent the same club?

Sam plays in our Under 12s Krocs in Socks, while her dad, Bill, takes the court in our Senior Men's A Grade team.

While they might not be teammates just yet, it's fantastic to see Tuesday night basketball becoming a real family affair.

Moments like these are what community sport is all about, family, friendships, connection and creating memories that last a lifetime!

Today we celebrate an incredible milestone — 50 games for Mya Jessica Erin 🖤💚

Mya first started out in one of acting Vice President, Tanya Thomas teams as a very shy young player, but even back then, you could see the skill was there. Since then, she has continued to grow in confidence, develop her game, and become such an important part of our Krocs family.

From moving up into our U16 girls Dan team last sesson for which she took out the Coaches Award for her phenomenal improvement, to now being part of our new U16 Crew team with coach Juz Dobson your journey has been amazing to watch.

What makes this milestone so special isn’t just the 50 games. It’s the effort, the growth, the resilience, the willingness to keep learning, and the way you’ve continued to back yourself every single season.

We have absolutely loved having you as part of the Krocs family, and we hope that journey continues for a long time to come

I am so, so proud of you, Mya. Keep going, keep believing in yourself, and I cannot wait to celebrate your next 50 games. 💚
