Tuesday night league will be starting at 6pm this week due to the large amount of games we have to play! There are also a decent amount of games for Wednesday night league so we will be starting at 6:30 to compensate for the extra games.

⚠️⚠️ Attention All Axe Slingers ⚠️⚠️

Due to venue staff training scheduled on Wednesday and our uncertainty around the mental / physical state of those return from APATC over the weekend, we really only have tonight available for skills night.

So we decided to keep it chill and casual. If you wanna come have a throw tonight come down and have a throw. We can get some games going, maybe even a mini bucket 🪣 challenge for y’all.

But come down from 6:00pm and just hang if you want. Bring your friends / family and show them why Axe Throwing is the greatest social sport on earth.

Last Nights Double's Playoffs did not disappoint with The Last Axe-ion Heroes coming from B bracket to beat Dragon and Nighthawk in 8 rounds to secure the gold medal!

Everyone threw fantastically well and should be congratulated on a stellar season, some for the very first time in the Doubles format.

Final standings were as follows:

1st 🥇 - The Last Axe-ion Heroes ( David Cann aka Dibbsie / Jenn Walker aka Tex)

2nd 🥈 - Dragon and Nighthawk (Ash Duffy aka Duffman / Nic Price

3rd 🥉- The Ghosties (Julius Cox aka / Clara Bush aka Shrubbie)

Massive Thank You 🙏🏼 all the players in today’s Bucket 🪣 Of Axes 🪓 Challenge!

It was a fantastic competition and the “House Special” Combat Shovel certainly got a good workout.

But in the end there could only be one champion! And after a gentleman’s agreement to both throw the Combat Shovel’s for the final Bedlam and Ricky Bobby went head to head at the ultimate test of versatility.

And the final didn’t disappoint neck and neck until Ricky Bobby was crowned the Bucket of Axes Champion!

Final Standings:

1st 🥇 - Ricky Bobby aka Cam
2nd 🥈- Bedlam aka Jack
3rd 🥉 - Bomba aka Richo

Not to be out done by everyone’s 2nd favourite Purple Dinosaur 🦖 P-Rex who was given a wildcard entry to raise awareness and funds for Parkinson’s Disease Research, spearheaded by giveparkinsonstheaxe and competitor Tristan!

Also thanks to Random Encounter Dice for supplying the awesome individual dice 🎲 on short notice for our players!
