ITS ALIVE 😁👌

ITS A RELIEF 😂

Stacey Lake is a happy lady now.

Now fingers crossed 🤞it all stays together as I’ve never built a intech before. In fact it’s probably been close to 30 years since ive put a motor together and back then it was just a old 202 red. We didn’t build it out of choice it was more necessity to get Stacey back on track without spending a fortune.

Thanks to Brad Mitchell for showing me how to torque it together as i had no idea 🙈without your knowledge and expertise i probably would have stuffed it up 🤦‍♂️
Thanks to Stacey who helped get it back in the hole and assisting me to make it happen and also calming me down when i was not happy. There was some pretty choice words being said at these times🤬🤬🤬
And aslo a big thank you to Kevin N Tania Parkes for the new bottom end conrod bolts as our bolts are on order and a month or so away. Now just to dyno it on Friday, to tune it and make it run right.

Team work makes the dream work 👌

After buying Stacey’s car we have had nothing but issues with the f**ken thing so we have now fully rewired the s**t heap and pulled the engine out and done a rebuild. Fingers crossed 🤞it might actually be somewhat fu***ng reliable now. As most people know we are always trying to be hands on and do s**t ourselves so we know what we get. (No one else to blame then but us 🤣) hopefully get it finished and back in the hole ready for next meeting.

Coming together nicely.
Still a few things to get finished and hopefully put some fire in it’s belly soon. Just waiting on a few parts to arrive and it will be ready to go. 👌

Been a fair while since I’ve posted anything about the late model. Here is a few pics of the progress made in the last couple of weekends. Everything is looking really good and coming together nicely. Slowly but surely im getting my enthusiasm back to get it done. Not sure when it will be finished and ready to race. But at least i can now see a light at the end of this very dark tunnel

Today Steve and I took a run at Ellenbrook Speedway. Our first times in our new cars.. For the last month we have been putting in many hours to get these cars ready for today. We cut it right down to the last minute. But we made it.
Still a few clitches to work out. Back for round 2 in 2 weeks time
