This weekend we have Max's biggest challenge so far.
Australian Karting Championship in Puckapunyal. Just over a year in karting we have learnt alot.

Back to back racing at Oakleigh and Todd Rd. Max finished 4th/22 ,kids gunning for it at Oakleigh day /night event. Early morning start on Sunday at Todd Rd.
Qualified 2nd
Heat 1 1st
Heat 2 3rd
Heat 3 4th
Final 3rd penalised 2 positions for overtaking on yellow.. 5th
Another awesome weekend, learnt alot..
The kids putting it all on the line is something incredible to see.

Uchi Deshi seminar at Chikara..what an incredible day it was. Thank you so much Nicholas Pettas and Angela Ortiz Pettas for making the long trip to Australia and everyone who travelled afar to be apart of this special event. 70 participants Kiaing the roof down ,the energy in the dojo was next level.
Great to have Peter Graham there as well training side by side and sharring his uchi deshi stories.
Nic's Shihan gave a authentic experience of what it was like to train in Japan, teaching it all in Japanese..It was a real honour for us..
34 yrs may have passed since our time in Japan but we share a special bond and understanding that it's our duty to carry on Sosai's legacy.
Thank you to everyone that supported the event..

Chikara One Match Challenge / U12 boys Victorian championship.
So proud to have both Jacob Yacoub and Marco Posterino battling it out in the boys final. Jacob was victorious ...Well done to both boys for putting on a great fight.
Congrats to all the competitors that fought.. thank you parents and friends for your support and Chikara team for making it a great day.

What an incredible night at Chikara. Authentic Old school Honbu training done by the one and only Nicholas Pettas
All done is Japanese.
The students struggled at the start but worked hard and adapted.. I couldn't be prouder of there effort. Thank you so much Shihan Nic..you are truly amazing mate.
August 15th will be a seminar to remember..

What an incredible weekend and experience it was for Max and us competing in the City of Melbourne. For 3 days the track became our home emerged in the racing world.. Max did not to bad qualifying 11th out of 58 kids putting in contention but also in also in the pack where there all battling for position leaving no room for error. These kids are putting it all on the line, all the parents must be super proud.
In the final Max end up finishing 18th.
Thank you Henry HJR Driver Coach for coaching Max and guiding him. Thank you Mark Johnstone Anarchy for the super quick engine and Johanna and the HJR family for your support.

It was a huge day at Todd Rd Club day yesterday. 36 entries alone in Max's group.
Max had not bad pace finishing 13th in the final. He tried his best in the final race which I'm very happy about. All the kids were super fast battling it out,no room for error putting it all on the line.
