Upper Ferntree Gully Junior Football Club We are community based club promoting the growth of AFL rules football for both boys and girls teams. We promote and encourage a family feel to the club.

We have a Auskick on Saturdays @ Dobson Park,
We have Under 8's to 17's Teams
we have some mixed teams and boys and girls only teams. Games are mainly played at Dobson Park oval Sunday, we have other home games played at Kings Park. Otherwise check the Teamapp

🖤💛❤️ Playing Together on Country ❤️💛🖤🎨

This Reconciliation Round, our U13 team proudly shared a special cultural gift with their opposition teams — a digital artwork created by Koby, a proud young Yuin boy growing up on Wurundjeri Country.

Titled “Playing Together on Country”, the artwork was designed as a symbol of unity, respect, connection, and community through football. The piece reflects the importance of coming together on Country, learning from one another, and recognising that football has the power to connect people from all walks of life.

The artwork features cultural symbols representing meeting places, journeys, connection to land, and the spirit of Bunjil — the eagle creator spirit — watching over and protecting community. Through this piece, Koby wanted to celebrate not only his own culture, but also the shared respect between teams, families, and clubs during Reconciliation Round.

As part of the round, copies of the artwork were gifted to both opposition teams and our own club as a gesture of friendship, respect, and reconciliation.

Reconciliation Round is about more than football. It is about listening, learning, acknowledging the history of this land, and walking forward together with understanding and respect.

A huge thank you to Koby for sharing his culture, creativity, and heart with our football community. 🦅
