the whale tail in progress, going to leave it finless for now, the original idea was an alaia style feel with volume for fuller waves, hoping the thin sharp edge of the flex rail/tail and vee out through the pintail will give it enough control on edge much like a snowboard, excited 😆

the 5’4  stubby nose fish…ish twinny with hydro V bottom design quarantine experiment, only surfed it in very average conditions but got a few waves in the end that has made me pretty excited to see what it can do

feels liberating to start manifesting an idea that has been filling my think tank for awhile….pretty excited about this one, i come from snowboarding so I am trying to recreate the feel of carving of a flexible edge…have not seen it done this extreme and in my head it works…lets see 🤪 viva la expérimentation

6’10 middy designed by in cork and flax over Eps, tried abit of a different build on this one, the whole board was glassed in flax, then i glued a layer of veneer over the deck to add compression strength and then wrapped the deck and rails in cork, making for a very strong build with nice flex and that soft velvety feel of natural cork on the deck

It started as a last minute dash to get my young fella to the airport to go see his mum in Norway, after our flight to melbourne got cancelled we jumped on the ferry, then while dropping him off at the airport a new lockdown was announced starting that night so I got outta there as fast as I could, 10 days of offshore winds, good weather and pumping waves….exploring a bit of coastline that was new to me and so close to home, thanks Vic you really turned it on for me yeeaaooow 🙏🙏 feeling blessed and surfed out ready to go home into self quarantine and make a few more boards
