The Speed Demon Track Squad have been working hard over winter to develop their ability to run faster. Here's a sample of what the squad have been up to.

Over the last 2 weekends several of our junior members competed in the Victorian all schools championships. Of the six athletes I coach, three have qualified for the Australian all schools championships in Perth next month. To qualify, they had to either win gold or silver in their respective events.

The three juniors that have qualified are:
Tom Follis-Kirby - U16 100m (Silver) & 200m (Gold)
Jarrad Vandenberg - U16 400m (Silver)
Wolfgang Curry - U15 triple jump (Silver)

To help them (and their families) cover the considerable cost of travelling to Perth and compete at the national all schools championships I have set up a fundraising campaign.
