❗️Club Statement❗️

Eversley & California FC can confirm that after two very successful seasons which saw us achieve and maintain Step 5 football for the first time, Mitch Cooper and Darryl Jelly have decided to stand down as Joint First Team managers.

The club would like to thank both Mitch and Darryl for their invaluable contribution in delivering what has been the most successful period of the club’s history. 👏

Accordingly we are now in the process of identifying a new management team and we would welcome applications from suitably experienced individuals.

🤩CONGRATULATIONS🤩

We just want to say a massive WELL DONE to our very own Olivia Mansell and Darcey Young for making this years Football in Berkshire Awards (sponsored by Grundon) shortlist for Physio of the Season! 🎉

We say a massive THANK YOU to both Darcey and Liv for their dedication and effort to mainly help our Men’s 1st team stay fit until the very end! Without them it would not have been possible!! 👏

Also being players for our Women’s side, Liv and Darcey not only sacrificed their Saturdays and Sundays for Physio duties and their own match days, they also gave up evenings to help treat players across ALL of the teams at the club! 💪

So again… THANK YOU and many wishes of GOOD LUCK for Awards night!! 👏

So close… 😬

Commiserations to our Sunday side who were so close to clinching silverware this weekend. 😓

The game itself finishing 2-2 in a very tight match with two good finishes from James King and Spencer Harvey. 👏

With a few penalty claims, some would argue that we should have come out on top at the end of the normal 90 minutes, however the tie ended up being decided on penalties and unfortunately we missed out on the trophy.

Unlucky to the lads on the result!

However a CONGRATULATIONS to Jordan Smith who received an award after the Cup Final for Golden Boot in the League! 🏆
