Welcome to one of Australia’s Big Things. An iconic Aussie character… the Big Prawn! Or as we call him… Prawnie!

You can find him in Ballina, NSW.

He was born in 1990 & almost died in 2010. BUT our favourite store (Bunnings 😀) came to his rescue, repainted him & put him in his current location. AND gave him a tail.

‘The Tail of the Big Prawn’ is a gorgeous little story book telling Prawnie’s Tale.

In the book he shares how he was going to be taken to pieces & moved to the Gold Coast.

But he said, “I love it here in Ballina.”

And we do too, which is why we’ve made the Northern Rivers area the launching pad for our next adventures!

John & I were sitting in Merimbula enjoying a coffee this morning.

I said to John “Can you hear the drums?’ (ANZAC service across the water).

He said, ‘No Fernando.’

Heading from Adelaide to Melbourne to do another Colour Frenzy.

Bordertown is a fabulous little country town with a great ‘drive through’ caravan park all set up for overnight stays. You don’t even need to unhitch! Even had free washing machines & dryers.

Silo art along the way & small towns like Kaniva encourage you to get out of the car & look at their sheep / pig art AND silos. The sheep & pigs were a community painting event with everyone from 8-80 painting a critter.

The Pink Lakes were pink!

Dimboola you stole our heart. Beautiful walks on the river, such a lovely caravan park. The stars were incredible. And the birdlife. Corellas spent the night elsewhere but every morning you could hear them coming!

We’re not in Melbourne yet but we’re having a ball getting there!

And it’s a wrap!

After 12+ months in Adelaide working for one of the biggest caravan park entities we are now back on the road!

We have picked up many useful skills which make it easy to find work on the road for which we are so grateful.

AND now we’re heading back into our ‘heart’ territory which is fitness & keeping people active.

We’re so proud to say we’re working with Colour Frenzy taking fun & colour around Australia, with John & I doing some of the work behind the camera & microphone!

AND we’re supporting local animal charities which gives us so much happiness.

The season started in Ballarat, we did Albury & Bendigo.

Our next event is in… Adelaide 😂😂

And then Colour Frenzy heads to Melbourne, Wollongong, Newcastle and up & over…

We might see you at an event! 😀

But… oh we’re going to miss you Adelaide & SA. You have our heart.

Another little stop in the journey for our new role (we’ll tell you soon what it is). What a beautiful, unique & peaceful place to chill out for a couple of days. We’re even planning to do 9 holes!
