The Eskdale Cricket Club has endorsed and adopted Australian Cricket’s Safeguarding and Protecting Children and Young People Policy, Cricket Integrity Policies, and Cricket Victoria’s Member Protection Policy for the 2026-2027 season.

The Eskdale Cricket Club would like to give a thank you to Zac Barrenechea for his outstanding contribution to our club over the past two seasons as a player, coach and captain.

Zac played a massive role in helping our club rise up the ladder, win finals for the first time in over a decade, and compete in a Grand Final. His leadership, passion and commitment have left a lasting impact on the group both on and off the field.

Thanks Zac for everything you’ve given to the club, we wish you all the best in your new role and hope to see you back at the club in the future.

Eskdale Cricket Club has the possibility of fielding an U/14s side in the 2026/27 season but this takes planning and help!

Congratulations to our under 12’s team who defeated Kiewa last night! An awesome game played in good spirits.

Unfortunately, all senior games have been cancelled tomorrow due to the heat.

Luckily our cash draw will still be going ahead from 6:30 and in an added bonus our senior sides will be having an intra club t20 match kicking off around 3:30.

So come down and see the boys in action, enjoy a cold drink and the air conditioner!

All Cricket Albury Wodonga games scheduled for tomorrow, 31 January, have been cancelled due to extreme heat.

The Eskdale Cricket Club was saddened to hear of the passing of Wayne ‘Cookie’ Cook.

Cookie has been a supporter of our club for over 40 years and was a great advocate for country cricket.

Cookie was always good for a story and a beer after the game.

For those that want to attend his funeral it will be held at Lester & Sons Wodonga on the 20th of January from 1pm
