Emerald Cricket Club (ECC) is seeking a passionate and enthusiastic Head Coach to lead our senior playing group for the upcoming season and beyond.

ECC is a proud, community focused club with a strong culture, a welcoming environment, and an ambition to achieve success across all grades. We are committed to developing not only strong cricketers, but strong people who value teamwork, respect, and club pride.

We are looking for a coach who can provide leadership, foster a positive and inclusive culture, and demonstrate a genuine commitment to player development. While previous Head Coaching experience is desirable, we are equally open to candidates who may be earlier in their coaching journey but show clear potential, strong leadership qualities, and a willingness to grow alongside our players and club.

Key Responsibilities & Selection Criteria

The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to:

* Develop and lead a strong club culture, with a clear vision for long-term success
* Support player development across all senior grades
* Build positive, respectful relationships with players and club members
* Plan and deliver effective training sessions and match-day strategies in collaboration with the Senior Cricket Leadership Team
* Mentor and develop other coaches and leaders within the club, utilising their skills to support training and development
* Ideally hold a Level 1 or Level 2 Coaching Qualification (or be willing to work towards one)

This role is an excellent opportunity for a coach who is passionate about cricket, values community, and wants to make a meaningful impact within a growing club.

Finals cricket is here 🏏

This weekend is a massive moment for Emerald Cricket Club with three senior sides playing in Semi Finals as we chase Grand Final spots and look to add more silverware to the cabinet after our Under 16 premiership success.

Finals are what every player works all season for and there’s nothing better than a big Emerald crowd on the boundary getting behind the boys.

So if you’ve played at Emerald, supported the club, or just love local cricket, come down this weekend and be part of it.
