Eltham North Jets are looking for a volunteer to step into a new role: Child Safety Officer. 

With new changes impacting the way clubs manage and handle Child Safety, Eltham North Jets are looking for a member of our community to assist the committee with the following tasks -

1. Having a visible presence within our club and are able to be included on our social media pages so our community know who you are.

2. Able to take feedback from players, parents and coaches on matters involving child safety.

3. Potentially communicating with the DV Delegate and Executive committee around any potential concerns.

This is a new role that’s needed to manage the expanded requirements that all clubs will need to accommodate moving forward.

Ngor is running a FREE ‘Come & Try’ session on Tuesday the 1st of September!

📍Parade College, Bundoora

Under 8’s and Under 10’s - 5pm to 6pm
Under 12’s and Under 14’s - 6pm to 7pm

🔥NEW - 3 WEEK REP PREP PROGRAM WITH NGOR!

Tuesdays -
September 8th, September 22nd & September 29th
(Please note: NO SESSION on September 15th)

✨Take your game to the next level with a high-level, small-group development program led by Ngor Manyang.

With just 6 players per age group, each session is designed to provide focused, individual attention while challenging players through rep-level drills and game-based training.

Across the 3-week program, players will work on:

🔥 Individual skill development
🏀 Ball handling & attacking skills
🎯 Shooting & finishing
🛡️ Individual defence
🧠 Decision-making & game understanding
💪 Confidence, intensity & playing with purpose

Players will be challenged to think, compete and execute at a higher level, with training designed to help them prepare for the demands of representative basketball.

Only 6 players per age group means limited spots and maximum opportunity to learn from Ngor. His last 3 week program booked out quickly, so don’t miss out on this one!

Please note: This 3-week Rep Prep program is an optional, additional development opportunity being offered exclusively to our players and is run and managed directly by Ngor Manyang, independently of our Jets Flight Academy program.

🚨DVBA have confirmed that starting next year, Autumn 2027 season, all under 8 domestic games will move to Sundays.

The dedicated model is designed to create a calmer, safer and more development-focused first basketball experience while improving Saturday scheduling across the wider junior competition. Exact venues, times and the final game day format will be announced in late 2026.
