Hi WACFA families,

We are almost there! As we head into our WACFA Closing Ceremony next Saturday, 12th September at Ashfield Reserve, please take a moment to read through the important information below.

Please see the attached Closing Ceremony flyer and Pitch Map (in comments) for the key details and timings for the morning.

Ceremony & Awards
Clubs are asked to be ready for a prompt 10:15am Club Parade, with volunteers on hand to assist clubs into their parade positions. During the ceremony we will also be presenting the U13 & U14 League Trophies as we celebrate another fantastic season together. League Winners and Best & Fairest awards will be announced next week once every competition has been completed and finalised.

Family Fun
From 9:00am–12:00pm there will be a Bouncy Castle and Jungle Obstacle Course available for children to enjoy. While these activities will be supervised by volunteers, we encourage parents to remain close by as we are expecting large numbers of families throughout the morning.

Food & Drinks
The Ashfield Soccer Club canteen will be open throughout the morning with food and drinks available for purchase, including a sausage sizzle. A coffee van will be serving from 7:30am, and an ice cream truck will be on site from 9:00am–12:00pm.

Fixtures are live on SQUADI.

We can't wait to celebrate the season with all of our players, coaches and families. Thank you for making 2026 such a special year, and we'll see you at Ashfield Reserve next Saturday!

PIZZA night at training this week. We love community and what better way to enjoy each other's company than over food! Thanks to all the organisers (in particular our Prez Steve Freind) for making it a special night.

What a season it has been! 💙💛
We’re excited to come together and celebrate the 2026 WACFA season at our Closing Ceremony! 🏆

There’s plenty happening on the day, with Mini Roos competitions from 8:30am, followed by our Club March and Closing Ceremony

We’ll also be hosting our U13 Girls, U13 Boys and U14 Boys Semi Finals, with their League Winners, Runners Up and B&F Awards presented during the ceremony.

A huge thank you to every player, coach, manager, referee, volunteer, parent and supporter who has been part of another fantastic season.

Come along, bring the family and help us celebrate the season, recognise our players and finish 2026 together!
