Today we celebrate all the dads, grandads, stepdads and father figures across the Eglinton Hammerheads Cricket Club.

For many of our Hammerheads, being a dad means pulling on the club colours and taking the field yourself, then heading home to the family who supports you every week.

Whether you’re opening the batting, steaming in with the new ball, chasing one to the boundary, enjoying a cold one with the boys after the game, or trying to explain why you’ll be home “just after cricket” — today is for you! 😂🏏

To all our Hammerheads dads, we hope you get spoiled today and enjoy some quality time with the family.

And hopefully your Father’s Day presents include some new cricket gear… because you definitely needed another bat! 🏏😂
