Just Wow!

From sunrise to sunset todayโ€™s
Walkerville All Cars Club
HICKS INSTANT TURF RALLYSPRINT ROUND 2
at Walky Park was
Amazing!

Weather: Check. Sunshine all day, slight breeze. ๐ŸŒž
Tracks: Check. Superb condition. Did the rain the previous day help? Sure, but the track maintenance team took maximum advantage of it by grading and rolling the track till 5:30pm after the Rally Skills Program finished on Saturday. Thank you for the effort and to the club for investing in the equipment to help make the tracks as good as they can be. ๐Ÿซถ
Competition: Check. Spirited and close as usual with only one car recovery required for the whole day so runs were maximised. ๐Ÿ’ช
Food: Check. Breakfast & Lunch. Great as usual. ๐Ÿคค
Passenger Rides: Check. Lots of happy customers! ๐Ÿ˜Ž
Event Management: Check. Smoothly run! ๐Ÿ‘
Marshals & Officials: Check. Performed professionally and without fuss. ๐Ÿ‘
Media: Check. Expect good photos incoming from GMF! ๐Ÿ™‚

Thanks to everyone for coming out and getting involved and of course congratulations to the winners!

Videos in the comments will be added on Monday.

The Walkerville All Cars Club, Rally Skills Program Day 2 took place yesterday and was another cool day of learning a few different aspects of Rallying for the students. ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ˜Ž

Thanks also to those that donated their time to get the cars repaired / prepared. They held up really well, a testament to everyone involved and would say an increase in mechanical empathy and driving skills from the participants. ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿ‘

See you at the next one which will focus on being a practice Khanacross event, amongst other things!

Did you know that you could win $1000 for simply driving in the dirt?

Last year Paul Knopka involuntarily donated his $1000 to someone else, donโ€™t be Paul this year! ๐Ÿ˜ฎ๐Ÿ˜‹๐Ÿ’ช

Details below:

End of Year - Cash Prize
2.1. Thanks to an amazing and much appreciated anonymous donation, WACC is pleased to announce that, as part of the 2026 season, and as per 2025, all competitors will have the opportunity to enter a draw for a $1,000 cash prize at the end of the year.

2.2. The prize will be drawn in person during the AGM / Awards Night at the December Club Meeting and will be subject to the following criteria:
โ–  Each Competitor will receive one entry into the draw for each Round/Heat that the Competitor starts in the 2026 season, with a maximum of eight entries for any Competitor who completes the full season.
- 6 Rounds consisting of a Single Heat
- 1 Round Consisting of 2 Heats - Each day of the SA KX Championship in October counts as a separate Heat for the Club Championship
โ–  Entering an event but failing to start due to either failing scrutiny or failing to present at the start line will result in the entry not being accepted.
โ–  To be eligible to win, the recipient must be present on the night the award is drawn; if a competitor's name is drawn who is not in attendance, the award will be redrawn until a competitor who is present is chosen.
โ–  Any competitor, regardless of club affiliation, will be eligible for the award, and competitors do not need to be members of WACC.
