Lawn Bowlers Excel !!

More than 320 NSW public school teams started the NSW CHS lawn bowls knockout in 2026. In the end the Dubbo college team consisting of Owen Cuthill, Emjay Clark, Lincoln Clark and Coach Mr Jarvis has finished an impressive 11th.

The team travelled to Sydney for the final 16 series where some of the best junior lawn bowlers in the state were on show. The team was in pool d. They had an impressive 21-7 win over Yass High( South Coast winners) , lost to Hornsby High(Sydney North winners) 11-17 and lost to Sylvania High(Sydney East winners) 8-12. Then in the play offs for 9-12 positions they went down to Deniliquin High(Riverina winners) 4-14 before finishing strongly to defeat Ballina High( North Coast winners) 20-4.

Well done to all players and coach on a fantastic achievement. The Dubbo College community is very proud of all you. !!

Girls Rugby Union Champions!

Congratulations to the Dubbo College open girls rugby
Union team and coach Mr Smith who are the Western CHS champions for 2026.

The team travelled to Cowra to contest the Western CHS final and completed a very dominant win. They scored of the kick off which set the scene for the rest of the match.
Outstanding defence and enterprising attack saw the girls put on a high class performance.

Good luck to Mr Smith who will coach the NSW CHS girls rugby Union team at the NSW Allschools this week.

Under 15 Soccer

Congratulations to the Dubbo College South Campus u15boys soccer team who have finished Western Alllschools runners up. This came after a fantastic performance in the Bill Turner Cup competition.

The team travelled to Orange for the Western division finals after winning the Dubbo divisional day. In the Western Area semi-final they defeated St Matthews Mudgee 4-0. The match was far closer than the scoreline represents as Noah Fitzsimmons made alot of great saves throughout the match. Noah, Flynn Ocallaghan, Kobe Seymour did best for the team.

In the final, the team on James Sheahan College. Unfortunately the boys went down 4-1.. The scoreline didn't represent the game though. Dubbo went down 1-0 in the first 2 minutes, then took control of the first half and early second half to equalise with 15 minutes to go. However the opposition finished stronger to score three times in the last five minutes. Kobe Seymour was a standout in the game.

Well done to all the boys and coach Mr Madigan on a fantastic overall result.

NSW CHS Selection For Lisi!!

Huge congratulations to Dubbo College year 9 student Lisi Darcy on her selection in the u15 NSW CHS girls touch team for 2026. The outstanding accomplishment coming after the NSW CHS selection trials were held in Nelsons Bay.

In a very noteworthy accomplishment this is also Lisi's second selection in a NSW CHS team for 2026. She was also selected for the NSW CHS u16 girls Rugby Union team.

Well done Lisi the entire Dubbo College community is incredibly proud of your thoroughly deserved success. It can be attributed to your dedication, passion and outstanding skill level. Good luck at the NSW Allschools championship's next term.

NSW CHS Touch Championships!!

Congratulations to the five Dubbo College boys who were part of the Western CHS touch team who competed at the NSW CHS Championships held in Coffs Harbour. The team finishing a highly commendable fourth.Winning 6 games and having a draw. Eventually going down to Hunter in the semi-final.

The Dubbo College boys included: Ryan Eade, Colby Ross, Tyler Eade, Leo McTiernan and Coby Read. Ryan having the honour of captaining the team. At the conclusion of the carnival Ryan was also named players player for the Western team.

All the boys will now be part of the Dubbo College open touch team who will take on Winmalee High in the NSW CHS final 20 game in Dubbo on 20/6/26 at 1.30pm. Good luck boys and coaches.

Great Stuff Jazzy!!

Huge congratulations to year 11 student Jazzy Gordon on her selection in the NSW Allschools Open Girls Basketball team for 2026.

This came after she travelled to Sydney for the NSW Allschools championships where NSW CHS(public), NSW CCC(Catholic) and NSW CIA(private) held a tri-series. NSW CHS winning the series.

Subsequently this saw Jazzy gain selection in the NSW Allschools team. It was great to see former Dubbo College student Tully Pickering who captained the NSW CHS also gain selection.

Well done Jazzy, your selection is a great reward for all your hard work, tenacity and commitment. The Dubbo College community is incredibly proud of you...

Simply amazing effort. Well done to all supporters, players and coaches on two fantastic days. So proud of everyone involved.
To Orange, you learn more about Astley Cup schools in defeat then you do in victory. And you were certainly first class in your efforts, support and representation of your school.

Dubbo College had an incredible two days of Astley Cup action!

Our teams gave it their all, and our supporters brought the energy every step of the way. It was fantastic to see the entire Dubbo College community showing such strong school spirit and pride.

With the introduction of the new Astley Cup scoring system in 2026, congratulations to Dubbo College on taking out Round 1 with a 32–4 victory! 🖤❤️
