SESSION 1 COMPLETE | WESTERN PLAINS OUTLAWS

Our first Western Plains Outlaws Train & Trial session is in the books after a strong day at Bob Dowling Oval in Dubbo.

Across the age groups, players worked through a mixture of:

Batting development and scoring options
Bowling rhythm, control and accuracy
Fielding fundamentals and competitive challenges
Athletic movement, strength and conditioning
Wicketkeeping movement, power position and up-to-the-stumps work

A big focus throughout the day was not only on current cricket ability, but also on effort, communication, coachability, competitiveness and how players responded to feedback.

The message from Session 1 is simple — take the drills and coaching points away, keep working on them in your own time and continue preparing yourself for the upcoming season.

Thank you to all players, parents and coaches who contributed to a great first session.

Final Call – Western Plains Outlaws Sponsorship Opportunities

The Western Plains Outlaws are making a final call for sponsors ahead of the upcoming representative cricket season.

We have had fantastic support from local businesses already, and we are now looking to fill our remaining sponsorship opportunities before our new apparel is finalised.

Available opportunities:

Silver Sleeve Sponsor
One sleeve sponsorship position remains available on the Western Plains Outlaws playing shirt.

Training Jersey Sponsors
Additional training jersey sponsorship positions are also available for businesses or supporters wanting to contribute to the program.

Sponsorship support will help us continue building a stronger and more professional junior representative cricket program across the Macquarie Valley and Lachlan regions, supporting players, coaches and families throughout the season.

Western Plains Outlaws – Train & Trial Invitations Sent

Invitations for the upcoming Western Plains Outlaws train and trial sessions have now been sent via email.

Families are asked to please check their inboxes and carefully follow the instructions included in the email, including confirming attendance and completing the PlayHQ registration.

Please also check junk/spam folders in case the email has filtered through there.

If you nominated and have not received an email, please reach out as soon as possible so we can follow this up.

Players from across the Macquarie Valley and Lachlan regions are encouraged to nominate for the following age groups:
