UMPIRE UPDATE – MARCH 10, 2022.
Hello everyone.
Welcome to my weekly update.
The COME AND TRY day at Kananook on Sunday was terrific with 9 umpires adding their details to our contact list and 2 of them coming to training on Monday night. We also had 8 new umpires attend training at Kananook on Monday and the numbers are even better at Carlisle Park.
REGISTRATIONS are still open and must be done at https://registration.officialshq.com/ . If you have registered at SportsTG you need to re-do it at Officials HQ. Be sure to enter AFL South-East - SUA as your group. Also include every discipline you wish to umpire this season. This allows coaches to appoint you to matches in the MPNFL, SEW, SEJ, FDJ and MPJ competitions. If you have trouble registering, click on Forgot Password. If that doesn’t help, contact [email protected]
PRACTICE MATCHES are continuing. Please let your Coach know if you are interested in running a few games before the start of the season.
NO TRAINING THIS SUNDAY OR MONDAY (March 13 & 14.) Training continues next Wednesday for our senior umpires and Monday March 21 for everyone.
