Field hockey is a growing sport in Australia, yet Whittlesea remains without a dedicated facility for players of all ages to train and compete. With a rising number of passionate hockey players in our community, it's time to call on the Whittlesea Council to invest in a field hockey ground that meets the needs of local athletes and promotes a healthier, more active lifestyle.

WHY DOES WHITTLESEA NEED A FIELD HOCKEY GROUND?

GROWING DEMAND:

More local players are taking up hockey, but without a proper facility, they are forced to travel to other suburbs to play.

YOUTH DEVELOPMENT:

A dedicated field will allow young athletes to develop their skills, providing opportunities for future elite-level competition.

COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT:

A field hockey ground will encourage more people to participate in sport, promoting teamwork, discipline, and a strong community spirit.

HEALTH & WELL-BEING:

Access to a local facility will make it easier for residents to stay active, leading to improved physical and mental health.
