Say hello to your 2025 u15 🏆STATE CHAMPION 🏆!!!

Our boy sent down the ride of his life (and there wasn’t a rerun, a glitch with timing meant his time didn’t come up straight away) to take the top step of the podium at the Joyride Racing Victorian downhill champs at a verrrry wet and muddy Kinglake. Super challenging conditions all weekend, Taylan took the top step by a whopping 3 1/2 seconds!!!!

Huge congrats also to our other GV boys who made the states top 20, P15 in u13s, P7, P12, and P15 in the u15s and P16 in u19s.

A well deserved break for riders (and parents!), now until the next race. See you all Mt Beauty for rd3 of the Victorian Downhill Series in mid January!

It’s the Joyride Racing Victorian state downhill championships this coming weekend, held at Kinglake.
Over the next couple of days, we’ll be showcasing our talented GVMTB club riders in each age category, who have qualified to race at the state champs.

That.Was.EPPIIICCCC!!!👏👏👏

The best weekend!!! Our round of the Victorian Downhill Series is done, and what an ace event it was. Huge shout out to our GV crew. You guys built the new top section of track, made the village, marshalled, ran the canteen, drove buses, and ensured our event was one to remember.

To the 2 GV riders to make the podium, Daniel Collins P1🥇in the Sport Men’s class, and Jake Jeffers P2🥈in u13s, we’re so stoked for you both!!
Our other top 10 place getters were Alex P4 in u13s, Taylan Renau P5 in u15s and Linc Sprunt P8 in u19s. Solid raceruns boys💙💪👊

Huge!!!! Let do it all again next year, thanks for coming to hang out with us at Mt Major🤟

In 3 days time, Major will be BUZZING when we host round 2 of the !! It’s gonna be a weekend to remember 🔥🔥.

HOUSEKEEPING:

🏕️ NO CAMPING AT MAJOR. It’s privately owned land, lots of great accommodation options in surrounding Shepp and Benalla.
🐕 NO DOGGOS ALLOWED. It’s an actively farmed property, sheep locked in adjacent paddock for weekend, but leave your 4 legged pal at home.
☕️ We have serving up the goods all weekend!
🍔 The GVMTB crew will be running the BBQ all weekend for brekky, lunch, snacks, drinks and zooper doopers!
🌳 Bring your quickshade, loads of room along the track to set up for prime viewing.

We look forward to hosting everyone in a couple days time, it’s gonna be epic🙌🙌!!
