The Diamond Valley Rockies are excited to welcome F Cole Penrose to the team for the 2026/27 season.

Cole is a dynamic forward with strong offensive instincts, speed, and creativity. After productive discussions throughout the offseason, we’re excited to see him continue developing his game and take the next step in his hockey journey.

The Diamond Valley Rockies are looking for families to host players for the 2026/27 season.

Opening your home to a player is a rewarding experience and a chance to become part of the Rockies family. Many of our players are away from home for the first time, and billet families help create a supportive environment both on and off the ice.

Billet families provide:

Congrats to F Kenton wood on signing with the Red River Spartans of the NCDC. Kenton came to use late into the season to help us in the playoff push and we are excited to see him move forward. “Kenton is a solid player and great person, he plays a complete 200 ft game and it’s been a joy to watch him develop the last 3 seasons. Kenton is from Chilliwack like myself and I’ve help him navigate through the crazy junior hockey world. Dante spent last season in the KIJHL, where he gained valuable junior experience that will be a strong asset heading into next year.

Diamond Valley Rockies are extremely excited to announce the signing of D Riley Malin for the 2026/27 season.

Riley spent last season in the USPHL, giving him valuable experience at a high level while also gaining an understanding of the Rockies program throughout the year.

“Riley is a smooth-skating, puck-moving defenceman who isn’t afraid to settle the game down and make the right play. He is extremely strong on the breakout, which is the foundation of any successful flow of play. The Diamond Valley Rockies are excited to welcome back forward Sam Lamb for the 2026/27 season! 🔥

“Sam is a great kid and a player who has a lethal shot and release. Sam has a high ceiling and last season he was just getting his feet wet. I’m expecting Sam to have a huge breakout year as our lineup is starting to shape into something special.”

The Diamond Valley Rockies are extremely excited to announce the signing of forward Desmond Tom for the 2026/27 season.

Desmond previously played with the U15 and U17 Caribou Cougars AAA program and made the decision last season to remain at home to focus on school and complete his minor hockey career.

“I noticed Desmond at a showcase this offseason and he immediately impressed me with his smooth skating, puck control, and hockey IQ. Desmond is going to be a great addition for us as we continue building a national contending team. I’m looking forward to developing him and seeing where his career takes off.”

🚨 AFFILIATION ANNOUNCEMENT 🚨

Big news! The Diamond Valley Rockies are proud to announce our affiliation with the McCall Smokejumpers of the NCDC.

McCall is a beautiful hockey town that enjoyed a very successful first season last year, and their move to the NCDC only strengthens an already outstanding organization. We’re extremely excited to build this partnership together as both clubs continue to grow and develop athletes on and off the ice.

This affiliation creates another exciting pathway for players while connecting two organizations that share the same passion for development, culture, and success.

We’re looking forward to what the future holds together.
