🌸🏐 MEET MINIS HYBRID 🏐🌸
Our youngest netballers are getting their very own taste of Spring Series action!
Taking the place of NetSetGo during our DNA Spring Series, Minis Hybrid is designed for girls and boys in Years 1 - 4 — combining the fundamentals they need with plenty of supported game play.
It’s designed to build those all-important skills — catching, throwing, shooting, defence and footwork — before putting them into action on court. It’s the perfect way for our Minis to develop confidence, learn the game, have fun and discover just how much there is to love about netball!
Minis Hybrid — where our youngest netballers begin their DNA journey.
Already a confident Year 3/4 player? Don’t hesitate to join our Junior comp as an individual or as a team!
Minis Hybrid, Junior and Open comps begin Wednesday 14 October.

Got some skills you'd like to share? We're calling on high school netballers to volunteer your time to help build the next generation of netball stars.
We're especially on the lookout for coaches for our Minis program. It's a great way to build and develop your own netball skills. You’ll be fully supported throughout your coaching journey, so no experience is required, just enthusiasm!
Know a high schooler or young person who'd be perfect for this? Let us know so we can tap them on the shoulder, or point them our way to get in touch directly.

The Deniliquin Netball Association (DNA) is excited to launch a brand new Spring Series, bringing competitive netball back to the court in Term 4.
The competition is open to teams of all ages and abilities, providing a great opportunity to stay connected with teammates, maintain skills and fitness and enjoy some netball action as we head into spring.
The Spring Series will also be an important opportunity for players aspiring to 2027 DNA representative selection. Participation in this competition is a requirement for eligibility to trial for representative teams.
Whether you're an enthusiastic junior, a seasoned player or simply keen for some midweek netball, DNA would love to see you out there!

🏐Six week home and away season plus one week of finals
🏐Junior and Open grades (subject to interest)
🏐Minis Hybrid (supported game play and fundamental skills)

The Deniliquin Netball Association is excited to introduce our new Executive Committee, led by newly elected President Sarah Campbell.
We’d like to sincerely thank our outgoing committee for the time, energy and commitment they’ve given to DNA and to netball in our community. We’re incredibly grateful for the strong foundation they’ve built.
Our new committee is excited about what’s ahead, with a focus on creating positive opportunities for players, coaches, umpires and families, while continuing to grow a welcoming and inclusive netball community.
One of our first initiatives will be a new short-form Spring Competition in October, providing more opportunities for players to develop their skills and for representative players to prepare for higher-level competition.
We’ll also be focusing on strengthening junior netball, supported game play and the development of junior umpires— building strong foundations for the future of our sport.
There’s plenty happening behind the scenes, and we can’t wait to share more with you soon. 🌸🏐

📣 Attention all DNA families and friends!

Deniliquin Netball Association will be holding its Second Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Monday, 20th July at 4:00pm at the DNA Clubrooms.

A second AGM is required as the executive committee positions were not filled at the first AGM. To ensure Deniliquin Netball Association can continue into the 2026/2027 season, all executive committee positions must be filled.

We encourage anyone who is passionate about the future of netball in our community to come along and consider getting involved. Whether you have been involved with DNA for years or are new to the association, whether it is a general or executive role you may be interested in, your support is vital to ensure we can continue providing opportunities for our players.

Please see below a list of members who have already committed to the 2026/2027 season. Thank you to everyone who has already put their hand up to help, we truly appreciate your support and commitment to the future of DNA.

There are still a number of key positions to be filled, so if you’ve been considering getting involved, we’d love to see you at the AGM.

🏐 That’s a wrap for our 2026 DNA Representative Season! 🏐

What an incredible season it’s been! We couldn’t be prouder of all of our players, coaches, team managers, volunteers and families for their commitment, sportsmanship and dedication throughout the year.

A huge congratulations to all of our award recipients, and well done to every player who proudly represented Deniliquin Netball Association this season. You should all be incredibly proud of your achievements.

🏐🌟 DNA Trio Recognised by Netball Victoria! 🌟🏐

What an incredible achievement for three of our DNA Representative players!

Congratulations to Lilly Boyer, Meg Meharry and Georgia Danckert, who have today been recognised by Netball Victoria as Talent Identified athletes following the recent Northern Association Championships.

As part of the Netball Victoria talent pathway, Lilly, Meg and Georgia will now progress to their regional trials. From there, between 25 and 35 athletes from each region will be selected to take part in the 2027 Talent Academy Program.

The Talent Academy is delivered over a five-month period and includes specialist full-day training and region-based training sessions, providing athletes with the opportunity to further develop their skills under the guidance of Netball Victoria's high-performance coaches.
The program concludes with the Inter Academy Tournament, which is the first step towards selection in the Netball Victoria State Team.

This recognition is a true reflection of the hard work, commitment and determination shown by Lilly, Meg and Georgia throughout the representative season. It also highlights the continued strength of the DNA Representative Program and the outstanding support provided by our coaches, volunteers and families.

We are incredibly proud of these three young athletes and can't wait to see where their netball journey takes them next. 🩷💙💛

That’s a fantastic wrap for our 2026 NetSetGo season 💙🩷💛

A huge thank you to our amazing volunteers who dedicated their time each week to help coordinate and run the program this season. The feedback DNA has received from both parents and players has been overwhelmingly positive, which is a true reflection of the incredible people working behind the scenes.

A special thank you to Sam O’Connor for coordinating the program each week, along with Lauren Ryan, Olivia Jeffrey, Grace O’Connor, Brydey Maher and Aleaha Leetham for bringing so much energy and enthusiasm to the sessions 🩷

Thank you also to Mel Pearce for running the canteen and lending a helping hand each week 💙
