Our Annual General Meeting will be held on Wednesday 9th September at the Time & Tide Hotel from 6:00–7:30pm.

All committee positions are available and will be voted on at the AGM.

If you’d like to get involved, contribute to the club or simply hear what’s planned for 2027, come along.

YEARS IN THE MAKING. 🏆💚💙

This one means a little more.

For years these boys have kept turning up. There have been some tough losses along the way, but every year they got a little closer.

Every year the belief grew.
Every year these boys got better.

Today was David vs Goliath.

But this year was our year.

And it’s bigger than just this team Cromer Kingfishers’ first Division 1 Junior League premiership in over 10 years.

These boys worked for it, stuck together and earned every bit of this moment.

Our Cromer Kingfishers family is coming together to support one of our own.
Rugby league is more than just a game—it’s about mateship, community, and standing beside each other when it matters most. One of our players, Wes, has recently suffered a serious injury, and we’re asking our Kingfishers family and the wider community to help support Wes and his young family during this challenging time.

Vale – Elaine Rose Plimmer

The Cromer Kingfishers JRLFC is deeply saddened by the passing of Elaine Rose Plimmer, a true club stalwart whose dedication and service helped shape our club during its formative years.

Elaine served as Secretary of the Cromer Kingfishers JRLFC for almost a decade from the mid-1970s, while also managing the buying for the club’s original canteen caravan. She was the kind of volunteer every community club depends on—reliable, hardworking and always willing to put the club first.

Her Saturdays began at 6:00am and often didn’t finish until after the final game. From preparing the canteen and supporting volunteers to keeping the club running behind the scenes, Elaine gave countless hours so that others could enjoy the game she loved.

The Cromer Kingfishers of today stand on the shoulders of volunteers like Elaine. Her commitment, generosity and tireless work created lasting memories for generations of players, families and supporters.

Elaine’s passing is a tremendous loss to our Kingfishers family and the wider rugby league community. While she may no longer be with us, her contribution to this club will never be forgotten.

On behalf of everyone at the Cromer Kingfishers JRLFC, we extend our sincere condolences to Elaine’s family and loved ones during this difficult time.

Thank you, Elaine, for everything you gave to our club. Your legacy will always be part of the Kingfishers. Rest peacefully. 💙💚💔
