Popped out this afternoon for a quick practice 9 holes at RAAF Darwin Golf Course. Shot a 14 over 48 and was very happy. It was ridiculously hot and humid as you can see in the first and last photos. Have a video out on my YouTube channel if you want to see it.

The Darwin wet season is living up to its name and potential. No golf again this weekend so it’s off to at Palmerston for some practice a 9 holes.

The irons are not letting me down at all. Pleased with them definitely. Everything else is about 50/50 so far. Anyway it’s all about more reps and getting a workable swing again.

Today was a tale of two halves. Back 9 was definitely much better than the front. One thing is for sure par 5s are killing me. Time to revert to playing irons until I can get someone to help out.

On the upside the par 3s were so much better. Approach shots were strong and I got par on a lot more than recently. I achieved one thing though, I enjoyed myself.

First purposeful range session this afternoon. Decided that my golf will not improve on its own so it’s time to actually practice 😂.

So headed out to this afternoon for my first practice. Working on clean contact and avoiding swing too far from the inside. Driver still sucks but it will get better.
