Well, we're still not over Covid19 problems. As the Sydney lockdown has been extended to 30th July that means our presentation day event on the 18th July at the Harbord Bowling Club will be cancelled. If we can find alternate arrangements at a later date we'll let you know.

Dear Members,

As the Covid-19 restrictions for the southern part of the Northern Beaches council area have now been relaxed, we will be running club swimming events on Saturday 9th Jan, 2021. (assuming no further problems arise).

For those who are desperate to get back to the pool, remember we run Wednesday night swimming from 7 pm onward at the pool. Normally these are distance events....400m this week, but if there is enough demand I am happy to organise some short course events for keen members.

Dear Members,

The restrictions on outdoor gatherings of a maximum of 10 people will still be in place tomorrow, 2nd Jan 2021. This means it will not be possible to run the usual club events on the 2nd
Jan as we would be exceeding the maximum numbers allowed.

Hopefully with reducing Covid case numbers the Northern beaches restrictions (southern suburbs) will be reverted to the usual ones for the greater Sydney area (outdoor gatherings allowing greater numbers) so that Saturday swimming events can recommence on the 9th Jan.

Unfortunately due to the current Covid-19 outbreak on the northern
beaches, the council has decided to close facilities for 3 days, 18th
Dec through to 20th dec.

Due to these temporary closures we will not be running a swim club
session on 19th Dec.

We are scheduled to restart Saturday sessions on 2nd Jan. 2021 so hope
to see every one back in the new year.

Depending on NSW health announcements in the coming days we may still
be running Wednesday night sessions as scheduled. I will let everyone
know on Monday what is happening there.
