A proud moment for Guardian Girls Karate Australia and National Program Director, Liz Mahler. 🥋💜

We are incredibly honoured to have Guardian Girls Karate recognised in NSW Parliament through a Community Recognition Statement delivered by Liesl Tesch MP, Member for Gosford.

This recognition acknowledges the important work of Guardian Girls Karate in empowering women and girls through confidence, awareness, personal safety and practical skills.

What began with a simple purpose continues to grow — creating safer, stronger and more confident women and girls through karate.

Thank you to Liesl Tesch MP for recognising the program and the impact it is making in our community.

Recognition like this inspires us to keep going, keep growing and keep empowering.

A third place is a regular social space outside of home and work where people can relax, connect, and build a sense of community.

For our students, that place is the dojo.

A safe space to train hard, switch off from the outside world, meet great people and build connections that go beyond the classes.

Come for the karate.

Through confidence, respect, inclusion and courage, our karate community is helping young people build strength of character both inside and outside the dojo.

Join us this Sunday for a special training session with Brian Cox Sensei (8th Dan), one of Australia’s most senior and respected Shotokan instructors. With decades of experience and a wealth of knowledge to share, every session with Brian Sensei offers insights and training that will elevate your karate.

If you’re 5th Kyu or above, this is a session worth making the drive to Berry for. Learning from an instructor of Brian Sensei’s calibre is a unique opportunity that shouldn’t be missed.

Set against the beautiful backdrop of Berry and the stunning NSW South Coast, it’s the perfect excuse to escape the city, enjoy the drive, and spend your Sunday immersed in karate with great people.
