If there’s one thing I know for sure is that no-one is perfect. We all make mistakes and when we hurt others it’s usually not done because we want to hurt them, it’s done because it’s a reaction. I’m learning not to be reactive and be greater than all physical things in my life. It’s hard, but once I get it and use it well, I will become the person I’ve always wanted to be.

Life is such a journey! Be great 💖🌸

Every day we experience/think/feel things that are distracting us from what we should be experiencing/thinking/feeling.

For me, my past thoughts are a huge distraction. People that have hurt me in the past is such a huge distraction that it’s made my life slow down.

So what is a distraction? Oxford dictionary says it’s ‘A thing that prevents someone on concentrating on something else’

Imagine if you were able to take note of your distractions and concentrate on what makes your life better! Focus on what is good for you, and everything will fall into place!

Today I’d like to talk about that time that you realise you feel you can’t do anything but you know you have to do something to get yourself out of a depressed state.

I have been in a place where I just didn’t want to get out of bed, face anyone (including my children), didn’t care about anything, just didn’t want to be here.

When I realised I had to do something, I had to make it something small. Something that took minimal effort. So, I decided to wake up the next morning, get out of bed and make my bed.

I did it! I woke up, got out of bed and made my bed. I then made myself a tea and then went back to bed BUT at least I achieved something which is better than nothing.

I did this for a couple of days and then I added something a little more every couple of days.

For those experiencing this, I found baby steps really helped me.

I hope it helps you too.
