🏆 CAPTURING THE GRAND FINAL 🏆

WHAT. A. WIN. WHAT. A. GAME! 🔥

The U12 Blue Dogs have had an outstanding season, and they capped it off in the best possible way — SGJFC U12 Premiers! 🏆🐶

It was a hard-fought contest from start to finish, with very little separating the two teams for most of the game. But when the final quarter arrived, the boys dug deep, found another gear and came away with a 6-point victory!

🏆 Phillip Island 24 defeated Inverloch-Kongwak 18 🏆

Every single player played their part and contributed to this incredible team effort. The determination, courage and belief shown by the boys was something to be incredibly proud of. 🔵⚪️🔴

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who came out and supported the team. The noise, encouragement and sea of Bulldog supporters around the ground gave the boys an extra lift when they needed it most.

And to Chris and Brad — thank you for everything you have poured into this team. Your hard work, strategic planning, knowledge and guidance throughout the season have helped these boys grow both on and off the field. 👏

To all the volunteers who have helped throughout the year in so many different roles — thank you!

Tanner delivered an electrifying, unstoppable performance in the U12 Phillip Island Blue v Inverloch Grand Final!

He rose to the occasion, dominated when it mattered most, snagged a couple of goals and played a starring role on the biggest stage! What a superstar effort, Tanner — congratulations! 🔥⭐️🐶

Capturing the Preliminary Final 🏉📸

Sunday saw our U12 Red team head to Dalyston to take on Inverloch-Kongwak in a do-or-die Preliminary Final. 🏉🔥

It was a great contest on a magnificent day, with a huge crowd of supporters cheering the team on. The Doggies fought hard against a strong Invy team, but unfortunately the Sea Eagles took away the win and ended our boys’ finals campaign.

But what an awesome season it has been for our U12 Reds! Under the guidance of JRod & Co., the boys have worked hard, stuck together and shown plenty of Bulldog spirit throughout the season. They should be incredibly proud of themselves and everything they’ve achieved. 👏🐶

We can’t wait to see them pull on the red, white and blue again next season! Well done!! 🔴⚪️🔵

🏆 CAPTURING FINALS FOOTY

The much-anticipated U12 PI Blue v Red Qualifying Final certainly lived up to expectations.

It was a tough, hard-fought contest from the opening bounce, with the two top teams displaying strong skills. The Blue side managed to edge ahead in the final five minutes to secure the win 31–21.

There was impressive football on display from both teams, and every player should be proud of their effort and commitment throughout the match.

Blue Dogs — progress straight through to the Grand Final.

Red Dogs — the season is not over yet. The team will take on Inverloch this Sunday for a place in the Grand Final.

Meanwhile, our 3rd-placed U14 Blue team travelled to Leongatha to face the 4th-placed Parrots at the Velodrome in their elimination final.

In cold and wet conditions, the boys fought hard in a closely contested match, but unfortunately the result did not go their way, going down 21–27.

While their finals campaign ends here, they should be extremely proud of their efforts and progress throughout the season.

What a way to close out the home-and-away season!

Sunday marked the end of the regular season for our Red and Blue teams and our Under 14 Girls. Unfortunately, it also brought the curtain down on a fantastic season for our Under 18 Girls. They came out firing in their elimination final against Warranor, playing arguably their best game of the season before going down by just 8 points. A brave effort and a season to be incredibly proud of.

It couldn’t have been a better finish to the home-and-away season, with every one of our Red and Blue teams recording a win! 💪🐶

A huge congratulations to our Under 12 Blue team on claiming the Minor Premiership, with our Under 12 Red side finishing a brilliant second on the ladder. What an outstanding season from both teams! - so don’t miss our Blue team take on the Red in a blockbuster prelim final next Sunday! It promises to be an absolute cracker!

While our Under 14 Red team narrowly missed out on finals this year, they finished their season in style with a commanding win over Korumburra. A fantastic effort from the group to finish strong, showing great team spirit right to the final siren.

Our Under 14 Girls also missed out on finals this year after a tough season, but they should be incredibly proud of the way they stuck together. Week in, week out they fought hard, supported each other, and continued to grow as a team. Their commitment and effort was outstanding and set a great foundation for seasons ahead.

Our Under 14 Blue team secured third place on the ladder and now turns its attention to an elimination final against Leongatha. We wish the team and coaches all the very best—go out there, back yourselves and enjoy the challenge! 🔴⚪🔵

Our two Under 10 teams also finished their seasons on a high. 🌟 It has been amazing to watch our young Bulldogs grow in confidence, develop their skills and embrace the fun with new teammates.

To our top-age Under 10s… good luck as you head into the ‘big leagues’ next year! Grounds with no cones, tougher contests and, best of all… your goals finally count on the scoreboard! 😉🏉
