Do you homeschool a horse-loving kid? 🐴🦄

We’re looking at starting a new Homeschool Equestrian Academy at Noosa Mountain Horse in Term 4.🐎

A weekly 3-hour program for homeschoolers aged 8-18 to learn riding and all about horses
🐴 Learn to ride & build riding skills
🐴 Hands on horse handling, grooming & care
🐴 Learn to understand and communicate with horses
🐴 Learn the real-world skills of caring for horses
🐴 Follow a horse's training journey (including a Brumby) from the ground up
🐴 Meet and make friends with other horse-loving homeschoolers

Beginners are welcome and activities will be matched to age and experience.
We’re taking EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST now and working out the best weekday.

🏆🐴 A BELATED BIG SHOUT-OUT TO ANNETTE & SASSY! 🐴🏆

We’ve only just received the photos and ribbons, so this celebration is a little overdue — but definitely worth the wait! ❤️

A huge congratulations to Annette Jenkins and our lovely Sassy, our little pin-up Brumby mare, who won BOTH of their Prep tests and took out the Prep Championship in June! 🥇🥇🏆

The online dressage competition was run by the North Coast Active Riders Group (NAGs) and gave riders the opportunity to compete from their own familiar environment, video their tests and submit them for judging — such a fun and encouraging way to have a go at competition.

We’re especially proud of these two because this result didn’t happen overnight. Annette and Sassy have worked hard together at Noosa Mountain Horse, overcoming a few obstacles along the way and developing a really lovely partnership.

And what a wonderful reminder of just how versatile our Brumbies can be. ❤️

Sassy started her life in the wild, and here she is today, dancing between the dressage markers and bringing home championship ribbons. 🇦🇺🐴

Well done, girls — you certainly did it in style! 🏆✨
