Coomera Magpies AFC is calling for Expressions of Interest for Auskick, Junior, and Youth coaches for the 2027 season!

Auskick (Ages 5–12) — Mixed
Juniors – Boys (U8, U9, U10, U11)
Juniors – Girls (U8, U9, U11)
Youth (U13, U15, U17) — Boys & Girls

Whether you're stepping up for the first time or you've coached with us before, every coach — new or returning — goes through the same process each year. It's how we make sure every team gets a coach who's the right fit for our culture, not just our footy.

We're proud to be part of the Coomera Community, and we want you to be part of ours. If you've got the time, the patience, and the Commitment to help our players grow — on and off the field — we want to hear from you.

GRAND FINAL. This is it. 🖤🤍

Sunday, 4:45pm, our Women's Division 2 side run out at Cooke‑Murphy Oval, Labrador to take on the Coolangatta Blues for the flag.

Think about the road they've travelled to get here — scraping into the finals in 6th spot, and now one more win away from a premiership. That kind of run doesn't happen without heart, and they've shown it week after week. Now it's our turn to show up for them. Let's make Cooke‑Murphy Oval a sea of black and white and make sure they can hear us from the first bounce.

Nominations are open — Coomera Magpies AFC General Committee 🖤🤍
Following on from our Executive Committee call-out, our General Committee vacancies are now open too — and this is where a lot of the week-to-week magic happens. Canteen, Bar, Merchandise, Events, Grants, Facilities, Coaching, Umpires, Social Media, Sponsorship & Marketing, Auskick, Team Managers and more.
These are the roles that keep training nights running, canteens stocked, sponsors looked after, and our juniors, youth and seniors all supported on game day. No experience needed — just a bit of time and a willingness to pitch in for the Coomera community.

Looking for a holiday break,

AFLQ GC North AFL School Holiday Program is coming up these September school holiday.

The program is running on Thursday 24 September from 9am-3pm at Beenleigh Buffaloes JAFC, with both a mixed Holiday Program and an All-Girls Footy Fest available.

The usual cost is $55, but families can use the discount codes on the flyers to receive $25 off, bringing the full-day down to just $30 per child!

It’ll be a full day of footy, games and activities and a great way to keep the kids active over the school holidays.

Our club doesn’t run itself — it runs because people put their hand up, get involved and give back to the club they love, season after season.

As we look towards 2027, we’re calling on members of the Magpies family who might be ready to take the next step and help shape the future of our club.

We are seeking volunteers for the following Executive Committee roles:

Some of our current Executive Committee members won’t be able to continue in their current roles for 2027. While they won’t be disappearing from the club altogether, this means we have an exciting opportunity for some new people to step up and help lead the Magpies into the next chapter.

You don’t need to have done it before. You don’t need to know everything. What matters most is that you care about the Coomera Magpies, want to contribute and are ready to help make a difference.

After a long footy season, whether you've been out on the field or cheering from the sidelines, this is a deal worth seriously considering.
