The MDCA are proud to announce the first scheduled day of women's cricket for season 2025/26 - Six-A-Side Smash!

This event is for any women and girls high-school age and above, and will be the first of five planned weekends of women's cricket on the Monaro this summer.

Nijong Oval in Cooma will be the venue, starting at 11am. We'll be using a soft ball so no need for pads, gloves and helmets, and the games will be short and fast-paced so you're always involved.

No equipment is required, just come in what you're comfortable wearing. No cricket experience is necessary, but you'll leave with new skills and meet some great people.

The entire cricketing community is feeling a profound sense of loss with the passing of young cricketer Ben Austin. While Ben was a valued and beloved player for the Ferntree Gully Cricket Club, the sadness of losing someone so young resonates on every pitch. He represented the passion and future of our great game, and his passing is a heartbreaking reminder of how close-knit our cricket family truly is.
From all of us at the Cooma Titans Cricket Club, we extend our deepest sympathies and condolences to Ben's family, his friends, and all his teammates and colleagues at Ferntree Gully Cricket Club.
We will observe a one-minute moment of silence tomorrow at the start of the game in Bombala [Time, 11:00 AM] to honor his memory, reflect on his life, and offer our deepest condolences to his family and friends.
