Hi everyone.

What a season 2025/26 it was.

2 teams, both making finals again, both in higher grades than last year.

1st grade, first year, made the semis & was 1 game off a Grand Final birth.

We invite all players, families, sponsors & supporters to our 2025-26 Presentation night to be held at the Kendall Services & Citizens Club. Friday the 17th of April, turn up from 6 for an approx 7 start.

Report from Andrew (Howie) Howe Memorial Cricket Day.

What a great day to celebrate & honour the life of our great mate Howie.

2 matches & 2 very comprehensive victories.

1st grade
Comboyne/Kendall batted first & scored a very strong score of 6/240 off their allotted 40 overs.
A 101 run opening partnership between Captain Dan Southward (54) & Lachie Green (50) set the team up for an onslaught. Contributions all the way down the list (Nathan Cunningham 31, Rhyan Hudson 26* & Zac Sheather the curator 24) Set up the huge score.

In reply Nulla could never really get a partnership together & ultimately did not get close being bowled out for 124. Brad Smith found some form to be the pick of the bowlers with 3/27 off his 8 overs & contributions from Drew Townsend 2/3 & Nathan Cunningham 2/24.

First grade have not been defeated since 22nd of November & couldnt be feeling any better with only a few weeks to go before finals.

Back at the Kendall Club afterwards at the presentation, Dan Southward was presented the Andrew Howe Memorial Trophy for man of the match by the Howe family.

3rd grade
Comboyne/Kendall won the toss at Kendall in the must win match & chose to field which ended up being a great decision.

Wauchope batted first & were bundled out for a low score of 106.

Some very tight bowling at the top put Wauchope under pressure straight away with Travis Moore getting the best figures of 3/15 off his 8 & Scott Selway 3/29 off his 8. A massive return to form for Ben Coles as he claimed the brilliant figures of 2/5 from his 8 overs with 5 maidens.

It took Comboyne/Kendall just 21 overs to get the winning runs with contributions from Clae Wilson 32 & skipper Charley Terry 31* steadied the ship & saw us home with 7 wickets in hand. 3/108 being the final score.

A massive thank you to Nulla & Wauchope for getting involved in the day & for the Howe family for coming & supporting the boys.

Howie would be happy to see how well you all went.

As it is coming to the pointy end of the season, we are putting in another order of our club supporter polos.

The cost will be $40 & need payment upfront.
