This was a special one, Rama missed our recent grading seminar, but there was no way I was waiting any longer to put this belt around his waist 🟣 so it was a bit of a surprise promotion at open mat this weekend.

Purple belt is often where technique, experience, and understanding of Jiu Jitsu really start to come together, and he has earned every bit of this promotion.

Congratulations on your purple belt. It's been great watching your journey so far, and I'm excited to see what the next chapter brings.

Let's all give him a cheer in class next week 👏
