Comfort now is tempting, especially when you’re tired, busy, and doing a lot for everyone else. But the small choices you make quietly, day after day, are what shape how you feel long-term.

But mums…don’t forget the other nutrients keeping you alive👇🏽

Micronutrients (vitamins + minerals) aren’t just “extra nutrients .” They’re EVERYTHING:
❤️ Red = Vitamin C (immunity + collagen + iron absorption)
💛 Orange/Yellow = Potassium + Vitamin A (heart + vision)
💚 Green = Iron + Folate + Calcium (energy + bones + hormones)
💜 Blue/Purple = Antioxidants (brain + recovery)
🤎 White/Brown = Iodine + Zinc + B vitamins (thyroid + metabolism)

💧 Water-soluble (C + Bs) = need them every day
🧈 Fat-soluble (A, D, E, K) = need fat to absorb

REAL TALK:
Low-carb diets cut potassium.
Low-fat diets block vitamin absorption.
Cutting bread cuts iodine (thyroid health!).

Back in the office after maternity leave… and back to fighting the snack temptations🥴
Old me? She’d find any excuse for a treat:
“It’s Treat Tuesday.”
“We survived Wednesday.”
“It’s Takeout Thursday.”
…honestly Friday didn’t even need a reason 😅

Now I’m trying to build a better routine 😌 one that doesn’t leave me starving by 10am or smashing cookies after lunch 👀
These are the simple snack rules I follow to stay full, focused, and not sabotage my goals 💪🏽
