🌧️🏐 CDJNA vs. The Great Shepparton Monsoon! 🏐🌧️

Yesterday our CDJNA crew headed to Shepparton for the Junior Carnival… only to discover that the weather had other plans! 😂

With the rain absolutely bucketing down, our teams managed to get one game in before the players and team managers made the very sensible decision to call it a day and head for home. 🌧️☔

But did a little (okay… a LOT) of rain dampen our spirits? Absolutely not! 💙🩵

There were plenty of smiles, laughs and, of course, the obligatory Macca’s stop on the way home! 🍟🍔😂

A huge thank you to our wonderful team managers, parents and players for making the most of a very wet day. Your positive attitudes and willingness to give it a crack are exactly what junior sport is all about! 👏

Sometimes the wins aren't on the scoreboard — they're the soggy socks, big smiles and memories made along the way. 💙🩵

Dear Parents,

Please see the message below from the Shepparton Tournament organisers.

The tournament will proceed as scheduled, regardless of the forecast weather conditions—that's netball!

As team entry fees and umpire fees have already been paid, unfortunately we are unable to offer refunds or reimbursements if families choose not to attend.

We look forward to a fantastic day of netball and wish all of our players, umpires and supporters a great tournament.

What a fun night! 💚💙

We celebrated the end of our season with some great games across all age groups. Team spirit was high!

In u13s Cobram were undefeated against Toc and u13 Jets.
Best on court- Joss Stammers

U11 group A was taken out by Cobram Tigers
Best on court- Evie Russell

U11 group B was won by Joeys
Best on court- Alessia Corso

Huge congrats to everyone who participated throughout the season. Big thanks to all our wonderful volunteers, parent helpers, and our awesome umpires.

We are excited to be entering 1 representative team in each of the following categories:

U9s (turning 8 or 9 in 2026)
U11s (turning 10 or 11 in 2026)
U13s (turning 12 or 13 in 2026)

This promises to be a great day and a big one for our Association. Our first tournament away from home!

If your child would like to be involved please be quick as spots are limited.

Cost is $25 per child which covers team entry and umpires for the day.
