Active Farmers - Kilcummin Qld Building stronger and more resilient communities

Active Farmers, a registered Not For Profit Organisation and Health Promotion Charity, brings together farmers and other locals in small farming communities through regular group fitness in a fun and interactive environment. Designed especially for farmers with limited or no local access to fitness expertise and equipment, Active Farmers provides motivational, challenging and fun training sessions

to help promote great physical health and mental wellbeing, and that suit all levels of fitness and experience. Active Farmers also provides a range of other services to complement our ultimate aim of improving mental health in regional areas, including health related workshops (mental health first aid, nutrition, mindfulness) and larger events such as Active Farmers Games, Ride for Resilience and Run for Resilience.

We are off for our 50km hike next week and chasing some last minute donations. Anything big or small is apprecaited.. it all counts. We will post some photos along the way 😊 wish us luck x

Hi Active Farmers followers,

On the 18th of July, Nicky, Kristy, Susie, Molly, Zoe, and myself are hiking 50km along the Sunshine Coast to raise money for Beyond Blue. This should take us 12 to 15 hours to complete. We are already prepping for this huge adventure we just need to ask for a little bit of support to help us on our way.

Fundraising isn't just about asking for financial contributions; it's about inviting others to join your cause, inspiring them to share in your vision, and creating a collective force for change.

Active Farmers Kilcummin is taking a break over Christmas.

Our last class will be this coming Friday 13th of December, and we will resume on the 13th of January.

I hope everyone has a brilliant Christmas and New Years.

🚜 Harvest Scedule 👩‍🌾

Chickpea harvest has commenced for us so I won’t be running any face to face classes for the next few weeks. Zoom classes are still running every Monday and Friday morning.
