LIMESTONE COAST ‘COASTERS’ ARE STATE CHAMPIONSHIPS BOUND

This Kings birthday long weekend football associations from all over regional South Australia will once again converge on ServiceFM Stadium at FSA headquarters for 3 days of competition.

The Limestone Coast Football Association is putting forward full grades consisting of Under 12 Development, Under 12 Boys, Under 13 Girls, Under 14 Boys, Under 15 Boys, Under 16 Girls and Under 16 Boys.

‘We are organised and prepared well. We have very capable players and coaches showcasing our region. I expect us to do well, have great football experiences and hopefully come home with some silverware.’ Coasters Technical Director Nathan Koopman speaking this weekends competition.

The regions football community wishes the Coasters all the best in their upcoming event.

This week saw a first for coach education on the Limestone Coast with multiple workshops taking place to assist coaches with the retention of their coaching accreditations.

On Wednesday and Thursday coaches were invited to observe training sessions of Limestone Coast Development Centre with a focus on refreshing skill from the Foundation Of Football accreditation. Coaches had the chance to discuss ideas and review session objectives and focuses within the training sessions.

These workshops will continue into the future to support coaches and clubs through their football journey’s. And in turn continue to increase standards in club environments.

National Simultaneous Story Time 2026

This years book for the 26th instalment of National Simultaneous Story Time 2026 had a football theme.

Luna Roo The Kangaroo Baller was read out to thousands of students and celebrated in many different ways.

St Martin’s Lutheran College junior school took part in the event by celebrating the books Australian animal characters with activities like ‘walk like an emu’ and ‘hop like a kangaroo’ as well as shooting and stretching stations.

A fun and energetic event which has also brought light to next months upcoming World Cup.

COACHING WORKSHOPS THIS WEDNESDAY AND THURSDAY AT WULANDA ⚽️

To retain your Foundation Of Football and C Diploma coaching accreditation coaches must gain 15 CPD hour points over 3 years. These Coaching Workshop events allow coaches the opportunity to gain CPD hours locally on the Limestone CoastFootball.
