Theres been a lot of talk over the years for setting up a GAA affiliated Gaelic club on the GC. For those not keen to play, we will have social membership also.

Gold Coasts first and only GAA club, Mens and Ladies Football, Hurling, Camogie and Kids Go Games

Gold Coast Gaels is the Gold Coasts first GAA club and we will be competing in the Queensland league from March 2014. Firstly, we will be looking for players for a mens football team to start with

, however, our vision for the future includes multiple mens, women's and youths football and hurling teams. In keeping with the GAA tradition, our club will host frequent social events with Irish culture in mind and create a central Irish hub for the Gold Coast. We are truly excited to be up and running and very much look forward to your support in the future.

Good luck to the Irish team taking on Australia this Saturday. Well done to the Gold Coast SUNS AFLW representatives Niamh McLaughlin and a huge shoutout to Clara Fitz who’s become a major part of the Gaels the last few seasons, helping in the background (especially the social gatherings)

Come along to the clubhouse at Alan Nielsen’s road Carrara to cheer on the girls, throw in at 4:15pm
