The Picklr Cronulla is opening soon in Caringbah, and we are building the team that will bring it to life.

We have two roles currently open:

COACH – Lead our P-Series classes, Pickleball 101 clinics, group sessions and private lessons, and help players of every level progress. Backed by advanced coaching tools and a brand that takes the sport seriously.

FRONT OF HOUSE – Be the first point of contact for our members and guests, run the front desk, and keep the club moving in a fast-paced, welcoming environment.

This is your chance to join the first The Picklr club in Australia and shape the experience from the ground up.

The Picklr Cronulla welcomes Steven Tindall as Head Coach.

We asked Steve a few questions so you can get to know him before our doors open.

Where are you from?
Born in Adelaide, and I've called the Sutherland Shire home for the past 30 years.

What do you love about pickleball?
Coming from a tennis background, finding a sport this dynamic, inclusive and enjoyable has been incredible. I've made so many friends, locally and nationally, through the game.

What are your goals?
To keep developing players and the technical side of the game, and to have people of all ages join this growing community.

You guessed it. The walls are black.

Here’s why that matters.

It’s not a style choice. A dark, matte court surround does real work for your game.

Better ball tracking. A bright yellow ball pops against black, so your eyes lock onto it faster and earlier.

Less glare. Matte black absorbs light instead of bouncing it back at you, so no harsh reflections pulling your focus mid-rally.

Introducing Sharon Tindall-Ford. Triple Crown at the South Australia Pickleball Championships 2026, taking out:
🥇 60+ Women’s Singles, 3.5 & Above
🥇 50+ Women’s Doubles, 4.0 & Above (with Belinda Crane)
🥇 60+ Mixed Doubles, 4.0 & Above (with Don Ryan)

For each one of her 3 gold medals, Sharon has given our pickleball community 3 lessons. Swipe through to check them out and improve your game.

She’s back… our Picklr ANZ GM Lara didn’t really disappear, that’s just how big our space is.

Lara is at The Picklr Cronulla making sure your court is ready.

New problem: these bright surfaces throw so much glare we can barely see the pickleball. Any ideas what we should do about that?
