As many of you know we have been attending clinics with Tanja for many years now. The knowledge & wisdom that we have gathered as well as the ability to transition what we learn into practice has had such ripple effects for all our horses and every interaction we have with our beautiful herd.

It's so excting for Linda to now be collaborting with Tanja from the human perspectove to add even more depth to this.

If you want to be part of that journey then join us.

There is an art to knowing when to increase a layer, or take it down a layer for your horses development of bravery.

We must also understand that with each gait comes a new “layer of pressure” and it is up to us to build the horses confidence in that gait with that skill.

For example your horse may be able to execute an obstacle at the walk with seemingly no issue, but if we ask for the same obstacle at the trot or canter we find ourselves in strife.

Knowing how to build this confidence through the gaits preserves our horses curiosity and confidence in training, while keeping us safer and more skilled under saddle.

Its always a bit of a competition between the bubs on who gets to have a training session with Linda

You might be able to see the cheeky blue very gently telling Linda that he wanted to be next by pulling on her pony tail & shirt. Young meg was also sutily sliding in too however it was Lunas turn.

These are our bubs that have recently been weaned & u can see just how connected they are with people. Love that a potentially very stressful time for them is handled with such ease.

The horse human bond we create with our horses is just so vital for us. It has such a huge flow of effect as they transition to their new homes in the coming weeks

This is going to be an extra special clinic where Tanja Kraus Horsemanship takes us in a deep dive into the Horses Window of Tolerance & Autonomic Nervous System and Linda from Nurtured by Nature Psychotherapy takes you on a deep dive intto the Human Window of Tolerance & Autonomic Nervous System. Facinating and transformational explorative and experiential clinic like no other you have attended before

EOI Hi everyone, Linda Sawrey Nurtured by Nature Psychotherapy and I are thinking about adding a 3 day clinic to our schedule, centred around Window of Tolerance for us and our horses.

Over 3 days we will build with our horses, learning:

* what the Window of Tolerance is and how to recognise when we go outside of it into overwhelm or shutdown.

*How the Automatic Nervous System Responds, recognising the indicators

*How we can step in to help regulate the nervous system

*Take home tools so we know what do do when we are out and about

*How to widen the window of tolerance, so us and our horses are more confident

This will include demonstrations.

Perfect for those wanting to learn more about regulating the nervous system, building confidence in outings, obstacles, and developing a healthy and confident horse.

Wishing all the very special mothers in the world a wonderful day. Hope you all have a day full of joy and special moments with the ones we love.

We have been very blessed over the years to have had some awesome mothers in our herd. Their wisdom and care for the bubs they have had just astounds me

Love them all to bits

It was show off today at Ricinda Ranch with 2 of our younger broodmares prancing around

Interestingly what had triggered it was 2 older horses joining the herd. These older horses were well know to the herd but think they were just excited to see them
