SSA NATIONAL BOYS NETBALL
Congratulations to Jake M from McAuley Catholic College Tumut on his outstanding performance at the School Sport Australia National Boys Netball Championships, held in Darwin over the past week.
This was an historic championship, marking the first year that boys netball has been offered as a full School Sport Australia pathway.
Jake and the NSW Team produced an exceptional tournament, finishing with an impressive record of 11 wins, one draw and only two losses from their 14 games. NSW was also the only team to defeat Queensland throughout the entire championship.
Their results included:
* South Australia: 16–13 and 19–12
* ACT: 46–6 and 26–4
* Queensland: 22–19 and 11–24
* Western Australia: 27–15 and 19–18
* First Nations Budgies: 24–7 and 25–5
* Northern Territory: 33–7 and 26–4
* Victoria: 17–17 and 19–24
Following their outstanding performances throughout the week, Jake and the NSW Team were rewarded with the National Silver Medal.
