💙FRIENDLY PARKING REMINDER💙

A little reminder for our wonderful Campbelltown Athletics families about parking on Friday nights.

🚗 TOP CAR PARK – PEMBROKE ROAD
This car park is reserved for our Committee Members and Age Managers only.

Our amazing volunteers arrive early, stay late and work behind the scenes to help make each Friday night run smoothly. As a small thank you for their time and commitment, we keep the top car park available for them.

🚗 FAMILIES & SPECTATORS
Please use the bottom car park between Wests and The Sherwood. The bottom carpark provides plenty of available parking spaces.

We really appreciate your understanding and support.

📢 REMINDER…IMPORTANT UPDATE FOR PARENTS & CARERS

Now that we are three weeks into the season, from this week onwards, only the Age Manager and up to four parent helpers will be permitted within the competition area for each age group 6s and above.

For larger age groups that split into two groups, the Age Manager will call upon additional parent helpers when and if required to assist with field events.

This will help our competition nights run more smoothly by reducing disruptions, noise and unnecessary movement around the infield and finish-line areas.

All approved parent helpers must wear a red volunteer vest. This will be monitored, and any additional parents within the competition area who are not wearing a red volunteer vest will be kindly asked to leave the competition area and watch from outside the fence.

Parents and carers are welcome to support their children from the grandstand or outside the fenced track area.

We appreciate everyone’s assistance and cooperation in helping us provide a safe, organised and enjoyable competition environment for all athletes.

🏃‍♀️💙 WEEKLY PROGRAM UPDATE💙🏃‍♂️

Our athletes are at the heart of everything we do! We’ve made a few changes to our program to help keep the night running on time and give everyone the opportunity to enjoy their favourite events.

📅 A FEW CHANGES TO NOTE:

🏃 HURDLES
200m, 300m & 400m Hurdles will take place during the 7pm intermission session for Session 2.

🚶 RACE WALKING & HAMMER THROW
Both events start this week at 7pm!
Athletes aged 12–15 years must have a coach sign-off before participating in the hammer throw. Race Walking rules will apply so please ensure athletes are familiar with the rules.

📣 LISTEN FOR PA ANNOUNCEMENTS!
Athletes may be called for a track event while their age group is at a field event, so Age Managers, please listen carefully for announcements.

🙌 WE NEED OUR COMMUNITY!
We’re always looking for volunteers to help with set-up and pack-up. No experience needed, just a willingness to help! The more helpers we have, the smoother the night runs.

🚧 SAFETY FIRST
From this week, families and spectators are asked to remain behind the fences.
Age Managers can have up to 4 helpers who may assist inside the track area when required. This helps us give athletes the space they need while keeping everyone safe.

Thank you for your patience, understanding and support as we continue to improve our Friday nights!

One Club, One Community, One Passion💙
