Croc Bait.

Relay Rebels.

Worst Pace Scenario.

B**g Kneesians.

If team names won races, we’d have this wrapped up already.

Wishing all our Adapt Endurance relay teams an incredible day at Ironman 70.3 Cairns.

Enjoy the journey, trust your teammates, and don’t forget to smile when you cross that finish line together.

The road won’t remember the countless kilometres you rode on it.

But the athlete and person you become because of them will.

The type of person who keeps showing up.

The type of person who keeps moving forward.

And that's definitely something worth celebrating on race day.

Race week...

Have I packed everything?

Am I getting sick?

Should I have done one more long ride?

Why do my legs feel so heavy?

Checking the weather for the 10th time today...

Sound familiar?

The reality is that many athletes spend race week worrying about things that won't make them any fitter, faster, or more prepared.

If you're feeling nervous, that's normal.

If you're questioning your fitness, that's normal.

If race day suddenly feels very real, that's normal.

You've spent months, even years preparing for this moment.

You are not supposed to feel fitter this week.

You are supposed to feel ready.

The work is done.

The fitness is there.

Trust the process.

And remember, to have fun!

Cool, calm, and collected on the outside, with a quiet resilience that few people truly see.

Consistency has always been Bec’s strength, but this training block has shown something more.

Confidence, growth, and a willingness to keep searching for answers when things haven’t quite fallen into place.

After her strong 4th place at the Cairns 50 30km in April, a few more pieces of the puzzle started to come together, and the belief began matching the work.

Since then, she’s doubled down on the 1%ers and continued showing up day after day. Through plenty of kilometres, tough sessions, and some epic headwinds, she’s kept moving forward.

Next weekend marks Ironman number four.

The results haven’t yet reflected the athlete we know she is capable of being, which is exactly why we’re so excited for what’s ahead. Sometimes the biggest breakthroughs belong to the athletes who quietly keep putting one foot in front of the other when nobody is watching.

We couldn’t be prouder of you, Bec. Bring on Ironman Cairns.

Hot, humid, and epic racing in Da Nang from Josh 🔥

Josh is one seriously hard-working athlete, juggling a FIFO roster that means training just 6 days a fortnight, and he didn’t miss a single opportunity to prepare himself as best he could through a purposeful build.

He kicked things off with a very fast start, locking in a PB swim and PB bike. Unfortunately, the heat wasn’t playing nice when it came time to chase a PB run, but with the run being his strongest leg, Josh stayed consistent and in control, even when things started to get a little wobbly.

This was smart, composed racing from Josh, and a performance he can be incredibly proud of.

Oh, and did we mention he still snatched a 20-minute PB in brutal conditions?

1.9km 🏊🏼‍♂️ 36:06
90km 🚴🏼‍♂️ 2:38:24
21.1km 🏃🏻‍➡️ 2:10:10
🔥 5:33:03 🔥

A memorable race, and one Josh says he has unfinished business with.

Watch out, Da Nang 70.3 2027 👀

You can’t grow on empty. ⚡️

If you want to race strong, recover well, and keep growing as an athlete, fuelling needs to be part of the training plan, not an afterthought.

For many of us who’ve been in endurance sport for a long time, bringing this kind of preparation to the forefront is a big shift. But this is what real athlete growth looks like.

It’s the athlete texting through their fuelling plan before tomorrow’s brick session showing us she is ready (proud of you Gabby 😉)

It’s practising race nutrition before race day.

It’s learning what works, what doesn’t, and building confidence along the way.

Practise it.
Trust it.
Use it on race day.

This must be a cheeky sign that .cairns is just around the corner 🤭

Cairns 50 Ultra 10km this year for Kirsten was a perfect reflection of playing the long game.

2024 → 1:09:16
2025 → 1:04:06
2026 → 1:03:21

Kirsten is no stranger to endurance sport, but what stands out most is her patience and consistency, even through obstacles. After some well-earned time off, she came into 2026 ready to take on a fresh set of running goals.

Leading into this race, it wasn’t perfect prep, it was rebuilding, mostly walk/run, with non-stop running and a couple of quality sessions only reintroduced about 4 weeks out.

And yet… progress. This is what years of consistency build. A strong foundation that lets you step back in, rebuild, and still move forward.
