Brothers Edmonton Bowls Club Welcome to the official Brothers Edmonton Bowls Club. Lawn bowls is fun for all, helps keep you healthy & outside to enjoy the warm weather of FNQ.

Our club runs events to support a friendly, community spirit for all. Travelling & new bowlers are welcome. Edmonton Bowls Club was formed in 1947 and the Ladies in 1949. In June 1947 the committee members were selected and in January 1991 the club became incorporated. Today the club is now in association with and sponsored by Fuller Sports Club and Brothers Leagues Club, and we are now known as t

he Brothers Edmonton Bowls Club. Our bowls club is a friendly and successful club with social games Wednesday (Men's) Thursday (Women's) and Saturday (mixed) The club offers free and professional coaching on Monday and Friday afternoons with others time by appointment. Schools are welcome as well as travelling bowlers and visitors.

BEBC Pennant Results for 30th May, 2026

Div 1 played MCBC at home and unfortunately lost 47 to 72.

The loss doesn't reflect how hard we played.

Two rinks only lost by a few shots,

Div 3 played MCBC at home and had a win. 73 to 54.

Results from the Weipa Shield 2026

Twelve teams competed in the Ladies Weipa Shield from 22nd -24th May at Brothers Edmonton Bowls Club.

We had teams from Weipa and Thursday Island competing with ladies from eight local clubs plus two from Edmonton.

Winners were Edmonton No. Two team and Runner-up was Edge Hill.

Thank you to workers, umpires, ground staff, it was a wonderful three days played in perfect conditions.

Good evening bowlers

Both Games Directors have advised that the first round of the Mixed Pairs HAS to be played between the 24th May and 7th June.

It is up to the players to get together and arrange to play the games.
Once you have arranged a date, please advise Games Director Garry Moule to organise the rinks to be set up and cards etc.
It is also PLAY / SUB / FORFEIT.
