Little progress update on the Ls1 Cortina build we now call the FRAUD...the name is perfect since its a Ford with a 5.7ltr Holden engine,
I can say the wiring loom install was super easy as i opted for a brand spankin new stand alone loom unlike the superstock build where i cut down an auto Ls loom 🫠
Headers...well i have a box of 1 3/4" tube and bends to custom make something but what a mission this is going to be with sweet FA room between the tunnel and gearbox, the drivers side is even tighter with a steering shaft to contend with, its left me considering all options that may even lead to notching the tunnel/fire wall to give me more room to work with..time will tell as the build goes on 😁

Hey Team!
Been pretty quiet on the Socials lately, enjoying some down time away from it all, but I can say things have been ramping up in the shed race car wise !
Meet the latest addition to the team
1980 Ford Cortina TF - it was previously raced in the local Khanacross/rally scene with a 4.1ltr straight 6 and 4 speed gearbox.
I purchased it as a roller and have since
dropped in a 5.7ltr Ls1 and T56 5speed gearbox, fabbed up the engine and gearbox mounts
Converted it over to 5 stud with the XW big brake upgrade kit and 15" rims
Currently working on a diff upgrade.
Plans for the courty at this stage is just to get out and have some fun and continue racing the Khanacross, hill climb and also some bitumen racing later in the year.

Some progress on the Bmw E46 Ls1 Track car build.
Managed to pick up some goodies the past few days 😎
Low k T56 gearbox with rip shift kit
Mantic heavy duty twin plate clutch
Mantic flywheel
Ls wiring loom and pcm to cut down and turn into a standalone loom
Bonus the gearbox is in with no butchering of the fire wall or tunnel and the shifter lines up in the factory shifter hole 👍
A Light weight and well balanced platform together with the solid amount of torque that the Ls engines are famous for, this thing is going to be a Rocket 🚀

So ive been cooking up something a little different in the shed the last few weeks !
The E46 BMW that i bought was only running on 2 Cyclinders and had mad rod knock so out went the 2banger and in goes some of Gm's finest !
A few extra herbs and spices should liven this little beast up 💥
