Willo's Challenge - Annual Golf Day

We are set for a perfect day tomorrow - 24 degrees, sunny, and a full course!

Please arrive by 7.15am to collect your cards, have the world's best bacon & egg rolls, and get to your starting hole for a shotgun start at 8.00am.

This year, we will have the Triple Oh Coffee Van on site in the morning to make you a great coffee when you arrive. Mick is very generously donating every cent he takes to Starlight. You can skip your coffee on the way and get one from Mick.

Please also try to bring some small notes and change to make it easier for the drinks cart and tent - they get wiped out early each year by $50 notes!

Speaking of drinks carts, as last year, we will have one roaming the course, along with a "drinks tent" stationed on the 7th/14th tee. This can be accessed from the 3rd, 6th, 7th, 13th, & 14th holes, so please rip over and grab a drink as you pass by.

The 14th is the Jackpot Hole again. Five dollars to play, land it in the circle, and share in half of the kitty.

The silent auctions are packed with a golf trip, a Swan's Membership, Lego, and a signed NSW State of Origin Jersey!

Finally, the famous raffle table is nothing without your generous donations, so please bring whatever you have to donate. Alternatively, Dowdys Golf Pro Shop is always stocked with ideas and can issue receipts if your business can donate a prize.

Congratulations to Marty Barbon, the 23rd Willo's Challenge Champion. Marty has now had his name on the Honour Board seven times!

A HUGE congratulations to Simon Kelso, who hit our first-ever Hole-In-One on the 16th hole.

Thank you to Chad McGovern for joining us and sharing his very personal story about his battle with Fanconi Anaemia as a 9-year-old. This included Starlight Children's Foundation Australia's role in distracting him from pain and sickness and providing a source of happiness and joy.

We raised $9,000 on the day, bringing our total donated to Starlight Children's Foundation Australia to $124,000. These funds will help brighten the lives of seriously ill children like Chad and their families. Thank you so much for helping make that possible.

Thank you to everyone who played, donated, or helped in any way. You are what makes this day a success.
