BGR 3x3 has TAKEN OFF 🚀

Across the last 2 weeks, we have enjoyed our opening two rounds of BGR 3x3 (formerly Sunday League 3x3) at the Geographe Leisure Centre!

The vibes have been absolutely elite to start the year with over 70 athletes hitting the floor across Rounds 1 and 2.

To catch the action, come on down to the Geographe Leisure Centre from 4:15pm and hang around to catch our FNBL action from 5:00pm on Courts 1 and 2 🏀

Interested in coaching basketball, but feel you need more support to get started?

Be Game Ready are excited to open expressions of interest for Coaching Apprenticeships in 2026! BGR invites successful candidates to learn new skills and approaches to coaching under guidance from experienced senior coaches during our BGR 3x3 season.

Our BGR 3x3 format allows for more frequent, genuine and impactful coaching opportunities for more athletes, creating the perfect environment for players, but also coaches to grow. Across a 12 week competition, apprentice coaches will have access to insight and support from some of the regions most experienced coaches, who are committed to developing new coaches and volunteers within the game.

Also, if apprentices complete certain milestones with BGR, they will have coaching course and accreditation fees covered as a part of their apprenticeship.

The team at Be Game Ready are excited to announce that our BGR 3x3 competition is now full for 2026. However, we still encourage all players born between 2014-2016 who are interested in playing 3x3 to join our waitlist.

If we have players withdraw, absences or we add additional teams, players on our waitlist are first in line!

1 x U14 Boys slot available
2 x U16 Boys slot available
2 x U18 Boys slot available

🏀 FNBL Rules Update 🏀

The team at Be Game Ready can now share a change in our FNBL rules that will make the formation and registration of teams easier in 2026. Let’s unpack it:

❗️Previous rule: Teams can only have 3 representative players. All representative level players, regardless of if they played championship or development, are viewed the same. ❗️

🆕 New Rule: Teams can have a maximum of 9 points, with Championship level players worth point depending on age and development level representative players not worth any points.

This change and the introduction of our points system are explained more in the slides below. We have made these adjustments to allow more teams to get together and play this winter ❄️

Be Game Ready are excited to announce our third season of 3x3 will launch in 2026 with a slightly new look 👀

‘BGR 3x3’ will officially replace ‘Sunday League 3x3’ in 2026 as the competition shifts to Friday afternoons up the road in Busselton ☀️

But don’t you worry, the format, fun, functionality and our famous uniforms aren’t going anywhere! BGR 3x3 is a fresh lick of paint for a proven, high-quality competition!
