Feel.
There are some amazing rods on the market. Really exceptional. But they dont have the feel my rods do.
I have a background in engineering and i have done a LOT of sports in my time.
In a rod, just like Golf clubs, cricket bats Enduro bikes and even tools, they are an extension of your body.
You need to feel everything, you need feedback. This means the handle is crafted differently, its position is different.
You feel the tension all the way to the but on my rods, through the handle. I achieve this by a very specific method of assembling the handle to achieve maximum feel..
My rods are not the lightest, they do require counterbalance most times(depends on what balance feel your after), but they are comfortable. The weight is always applied strategically and in a precise manner to achieve each rods individual balance and significant reduction in fatigue.
That takes time. A lot of time.
